3 Creative Ways to Make Kava Chai

Stress Melting Caffeine-Free Chai Recipes

  1. Dirty Chai

Remember years ago when you’d hear people at the coffee shop saying, “I’d like my latte dirty please” with a wink and a smile.. Well I do. Then all of a sudden a new trend entered the coffee scene and it was long forgotten? Well, let me do you the honor of bring it back into your life because its that good and supper simple when all you have to do is make your coffee and add a tiny, I mean tiny as in the tip of a chopstick amount of Kava Chai into your cup, mix it and drink to your hearts content!

  2. Chai Smoothie

If you’re a smoothie lover this one is for you! When it started getting crazy hot, I started craving cold and delicious smoothies. I needed to get sweet relief and nothing sounded better then a refreshing and nourishing smoothie, cuz you know that heat is not joking around. Somedays smoothies are my breakfast, you know how it goes when you have somewhere to be early and you know if you don’t have anything in your stomach you’re most definitely going to feel half human before noon. Anyways, by just adding a teaspoon of Kava Chai makes any smoothies other worldly, and im not exaggerating! Even the simplest of smoothies like banana, oat milk, protein powder and/or nut butter with a spoon of Kava Chai is delightful. And if you’re a fruit bat like so many of us, I’d say peaches, mangos, and any berries would be delicious, as well as a handful of greens like spinach makes for a smoothie thats comparable to one you’d spend at least $10 on at a boutique juice bar, just saying.

    3. Ice Chai Concentrate

At home I’ve been making a quart jar of this goddess and keeping it in the refrigerator, where I can go to it at any time of the day and have an even more instant cup of Chai. If your an ice cold tea kinda person this is definitely something you’ll want to keep in the fridge all season. All it requires is a minute or two of your time and a jar, so let’s get to the how to! To make this all you need is a tablespoon of Kava Chai, hot water and a quart size jar, you can go for any size jar that suits you, just adjust the amount of Kava Chai you you’re using. What you’re going to do is melt the tablespoon of Kava Chai into just a few ounces of hot water and mix it up till its dissolved, then you’ll fill the rest of the jar with room temp or cold water, cap it and refrigerate. I personally like things sweet so I add a few drops of stevia to the jar of concentrate, but you can leave it as is if you don’t like things sweet, or you can add honey, maple syrup or whatever sugar you like. Come the time I like to drink a glass of this cold chai I pour the concentrate into my cup, add a few ounces of oat milk and top it off with some ice. Most days I drink my cup so fast, its just that good and usually end up going for another cup soon after.
